How to make an awesome menu? Inspiration from Restaurant menus.

In any good restaurant, everything has to be good, the interiors, the service, food and… Oh, yes! the Menu. A menu serves some particular functions. Obviously, one is to inform the patrons about the food and its prices (sometimes even the prices not mentioned) and the other is to increase the appetite of the reader. Have you noticed how mere reading of the menu makes you feel hungrier, because it sounds so good.

Here are some samples which might inspire you.
bokhara wine list

Awesome wine list from the restaurant “Bokhara” in the UK. It is made of wood and looks like a real bottle of wine.

Monomakh - tea cafe

Design for a Tea house in Alice in Wonderland style. Funny illustration inspired by English literature of absurd.

Just tremendous paper work. No words  can describe its elegance.

Menu in retro style. Great work and an incredible feeling.

Very simple black&white menu that looks gorgeous and saves money on printing ;)
